Walker turns 5

Today is Walker's 5th birthday. It has gone so fast. I cant believe it. He got up this morning and went to the mirror to see if he grew ,since he is now five years old! Walker makes our lives fun. There is never a dull moment when he is  around. He is looking forward to kindergarten, he loves baseball, and basketball, playing with Lego's and having lots of friends around. Ever since Walker was born he has had a twinkle in his eyes, and his smile can melt your heart! I have a special place in my heart for my Walker. Life would not be the same without him. Happy birthday Walker! We love you so much. I thought I would post some pictures of Walker as a baby. He was the cutest thing. It's a good thing he was so cute, he cried for 4 months straight.

Meet Alexa and Maddy

These are two of beehives that came to our "neighborhood" BBQ. I gave them my camera and told them "to go take pictures of the party." And this is what I came home with. Love you Alexa and Maddy!

Pioneer weekend

Pioneer Day in Utah is one of our biggest holidays. We have Spanish fork days that has the rodeo, carnivals, booths for the family, and fireworks. So its a pretty big deal, and a lot of fun. For Pioneer day we took the kids bowling and to dinner. Later that night we went to some friends house for fireworks and to watch an outdoor movie. They brought out their projector and put a sheet across the fence  and put "Goonies" on! The kids loved it. We lit fireworks and had a great time with friends.
Then on Saturday our culd-a-sac put on a big "neighborhood" BBQ.We went with an Olympic theme, where each house in the neighborhood had a different  event. We had some  blow up water slides and a blow up trampoline, lots of food and fun people! It was a ton of fun. Later everyone went to our neighbors house to do smores in their fire pit.You can only imagine how cool the kids thought that was .So for those of you that missed it, you really missed it! But there  is always next year(maybe). To say the least Walker and Lilly were exhausted from their week of fun. Summer is truly the best!

Lilly turns 3!!

We are no longer in the "terrible twos!" Lilly had her birthday on the 5th. We had a big fun lunch with all of her cousins, aunts and uncles. It was a lot of fun. Lilly is such a delight to be around. She's full of energy and her goal in life right now is to TRY to keep up with Walker. She loves being a big sister to Ella. Lilly has the face of an angel, and the attitude of a diva. She runs everywhere she goes. Our family wouldn't be complete without her!

Walker's Swim lessons

Walker just finished swim lessons! By the end of the week he was diving off the diving board and swimming in the deep end. He loved it! He loves the water, and seems to be fearless ! Lilly on the other hand, did great in the beginning of the class, but when it came time to go near the deep end she was terrified.I pulled her out of the water in one class, and the teacher informed me later that wasn't the wisest thing to do.(What does she know anyway!)But were done and Walker had a great time, Lilly not much!

Aunt Jewel's visit

We love having visitors! Aunt Jewel(my little sis) and her cute daughter Charlee came to visit. They stayed with us for 11 days. The kids had a great time with Charlee. Charlee and Lilly are only 6 months apart and had a bit of a sharing problem, as most two and three year olds do! So it was a good learning experience for her to have her cousin around! We went to the dinosaur museum, swimming everyday,  We showed her around Temple Square , shopped, and just hung out. I wish they lived closer. Lilly loved playing with charlee! We already miss you guys!
